2.1 The Steer to Success Data Protection Officer is responsible for ensuring that this Notice is made available to data subjects prior to Steer to Success collecting/processing their personal data. 

2.2 All employees of Steer to Success who interact with data subjects are responsible for ensuring that this Notice is drawn to the data subject’s attention and that their consent to the processing of their data is secured.

Steer to Success is an online education platform dedicated to making high-quality lessons and resources available to students in an accessible and affordable manner. As part of our mission to help all students succeed in education, we collect and process personal data necessary to deliver our services effectively. Whether you are purchasing a course, signing up for a newsletter, or making an enquiry, your personal data will be processed in line with our aims and objectives.

The personal data we collect/process includes (but is not limited to): 

• Contact Name: Used to service your enquiry and ensure we are speaking to the correct person when we make contact. 

• Contact Number: Used to service your enquiry and discuss your enquiry with you. 

• Contact Email: Used to service your enquiry and email details of the product you have enquired about. 

• Product Interested In: Used to direct your enquiry to the relevant person to ensure you receive the best service. 

• Time Stamp & Date Stamp of Enquiry: Used for compliance and to provide proof of enquiry made. 

• IP Address of Enquiry: Used for compliance and to provide proof of enquiry made. 

• Future Contact Preferences: Used to contact you in the future based on your preferred methods. 

The personal data we collect will be used for a number of purposes, including (but not limited to): 

• to help us service your enquiry; 

• to manage any service you take out with us; and 

• if you opted in for future marketing regarding new products or news from Steer to Success, we will only contact you using your preferred methods. 

Our legal basis for processing the personal data: 

If you enter into a business agreement with Steer to Success, we will need to process your details under contract to service your order. 

Special Categories of Personal Data: 

Steer to Success does not process any special categories of personal data.

Consent is required for Steer to Success to process both types of personal data, but it must be explicitly given. Steer to Success will process personal data for the length of any agreement we have in place to manage a service we provide. If we cannot or you choose not to take out a service with us, we will destroy your details (to the extent reasonably practicable) unless you have opted in for further contact regarding new products or news. We regularly provide opportunities to opt out of future correspondence.
